President Director of Arsy Buana Travelindo Saipul Bahri said, HAJJ's performance in the first quarter of 2024 showed good performance. Where HAJJ was able to continue and optimize well the momentum of religious travel during the month of Ramadan in the first quarter of 2024.
AJJ was able to record revenue of Rp 306.06 billion as of the first quarter of 2024, or a 190% jump from the revenue in the first quarter of 2023 which was only Rp 105.68 billion.
The hotel segment alone recorded revenue of Rp 274.78 billion, or a 575.75% jump compared to the achievement in the first quarter of 2023 which amounted to Rp 40.66 billion.
Meanwhile, ticketing segment revenue reached Rp 24.43 billion, down 51.04% compared to the achievement in the January-March 2023 period which amounted to Rp 49.90 billion.

"The Company's performance in the first quarter of this year showed strong growth, especially in the hotel allotment segment. We are indeed directing our focus to the hotel segment because it has a higher margin than other segments,” Saipul said on Tuesday (4/6).
As a result, HAJJ's gross profit as of March 31, 2024 was recorded at Rp 16.09 billion, an increase of 124% from the achievement of the same period in the previous year of Rp 7.17 billion.
This brilliant performance was also reflected in the achievement of operating profit, where HAJJ recorded a profit before tax as of March 31, 2024 of Rp 12.70 billion, up 150% from the same period the previous year of Rp 5.08 billion.
Until the end of March, HAJJ was able to record a net profit of Rp 9.90 billion, an increase of 150% from the achievement in the first quarter of 2023 which amounted to Rp 3.97 billion.
"In the first quarter of this year, the Company managed to get a significant increase in the number of Umrah pilgrims during Ramadan in 2024. In addition, the increase in revenue was also obtained from the increase in the company's room management which managed to attract more pilgrims,” he added.
In terms of balance sheet, total assets as of March 31, 2024 amounted to Rp 188.68 billion, a decrease of 0.37% from total assets as of December 31, 2023 of Rp 189.39 billion.
On the liabilities side, HAJJ as of March 31, 2024 was recorded at Rp 32.13 billion, down 24.82% from its liabilities as of December 31, 2023 of Rp 42.73 billion.
HAJJ's equity as of March 31, 2024 was seen at Rp 156.56 billion, an increase of 6.75% from equity as of December 31, 2023 of Rp 146.65 billion.
